My niece's birthday is Saturday, and her parents (my brother and his wife) have invited the family to a BBQ at their house. It was a fairly last-minute invitation, and we had already announced the FHE, so we told them we already had other plans and wouldn't be able to make it.
But if nobody is coming to our house for FHE, we'd just as soon go to the BBQ. (If we can't spend the evening with family, we might as well spend it with family). :-)
So Saturday's FHE is officially canceled, with apologies to any who planned on coming.
According to the schedule we had tentatively put together, we should have another FHE planned for Monday the 20th, but we're not going to be around that day, so that one is canceled as well.
If anyone is interested in making these things happen, please express your interest in the comments or in private email (mormoninthecloset [at] gmail (dot) com) so that we'll know whether we should plan on doing something next month (third Saturday would be the 15th) or just give up the idea and stick to parties and social events.
Speaking of social events...
We are still planning on the MoHo MOM get-together on Saturday the 18th (a week from tomorrow) at a park in Pleasant Grove. We'll meet at 6-ish for a picnic dinner. There's an amazing playground for the kids, and the adults can visit, play games, or whatever.
If you want more details, email me or Sarah or Kengo Biddles. We'd love to see you there!
EDIT: To clarify, none of this has anything to do with the "July" MoHo Party on August 1st, which is still on, and which you're all still invited to.

I was out of email contact for 3 days and unable to comment on the FHE before it was cancelled. I very much urge that we hold an FHE for adult discussion on Aug 15. I also suggest that we not wait to see who will promise to come, but simply announce it and plan on having a good time with those who do come. Whether it is 5 or 25 it will be good. I will send an email to you Scott with my other suggestions.
